Social media is in prime time mode. With the dizzying array of social channels and new features, marketers need to arm themselves with more sophisticated tools to keep up with their consumers and stay relevant.
Today’s Infographic treat comes from the folks at the Social Media Strategies Summit and is very handy run down of the latest and greatest social media tools available. It’s awesome to see how far we’ve come from the early days – the power to tap into the collective consumer mindset has never been greater.
A few things to note as you peruse:
- 5 categories of tools: Social Listening, Social Conversation, Social Marketing, Social Analytics and Social Influencer Management
- Identifies both what the tool is best for and ideal user base
- Most of the tools listed are paid, a few free ones are mentioned including Social Mention
Interestingly, I didn’t see any of the social data players mentioned such as DataSift, Gnip and Topsy. Without a doubt, data is quickly becoming the life bread of social business.
